SUMMARY

 

We made the first VARIDESK to help a friend with his back pain. It worked so well that we got a ton of requests to make more. So, we did, and we haven’t stopped since.

Our line of sit-stand desks and active office products continues to grow, and our customers now span the globe. We’re passionate about helping people get more done and feel better doing it. So, we are expanding and looking for top of the line leadership to guide our business development to reach new heights. This position is responsible for managing and leading a team of business development associates and business development executives.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

 

  • Coach, mentor, train, and develop business development executives
  • Assist business development executives on calls and strategy to obtain new accounts.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations and pricing.
  • Prepare sales and activity reports, communication & follow up.
  • Assist in planning annual goals, appraisals, personnel issues.
  • Distribute associate performance objectives to meet provided team objectives
  • Fully responsible for public and private accountability methods, contest idea generation, and performance coaching.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 -4 years successful experience in sales management in a business-to-business selling environment. Inside business development leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • All core skills and knowledge of the sales cycle of a Business Development role.
  • Advanced selling & negotiation skills.
  • Management skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimization.
  • High level of business acumen.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated and driven by both financial and career opportunities
  • Excellent computer skills, CRM experience, and technology competence.
  • Previous individual sales experience.
  • All core skills and knowledge of the Business Development Associate or Business Development Manager role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
