SUMMARY

The Order Management Specialist provides critical support for the account management team. As part of the Sales Operations team, you will liaise with the Sales Team and Logistics department to ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and meet internal requirements. The Order Process Management Specialist is the primary point of contact for order placement. He or she will work within their team to provide quality service to the customer and forward the goal of being a company that is easy to do business with.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  •  Effectively process customer purchase orders, estimates, and credit card orders
  •  Confirm inbound purchase orders for quality and information integrity
  •  Consistently produce the highest quality, error free transactions
  •  Continuously build knowledge base of the most recent processing methods per transaction type
  •  Provide outstanding support to account management team by ensuring proper processes are completed on customers behalf
  •  Build and maintain professional business relationships with the account management teams and across departments through effective communication
  •  Process credit card orders via phone when necessary

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  •  Excellent reading comprehension, writing and verbal communication skills
  •  Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and punctual
  •  Multi-tasking is a must, with minimum supervision and ability to remain patient and calm in high-pressure situations
  •  Exercise professional telephone etiquette for all calls, exhibiting a positive and upbeat attitude always
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of order management, data entry, or customer service experience
