Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales leads for VARIDESK’s Sales Organization. This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career at VARIDESK. There is a path for career growth within Varidesk for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work toward that goal.

What YOU’LL do:

Your first 3-6 months

  • Learn VARIDESK’s Products and Buyers.
  • Learn the tools necessary to be successful: Salesforce CRM, scripts, product
  • Build relationships with your Sales Development, Business Development and Account Management counterparts.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through lead generation, outbound prospecting and inbound contacts.
  • Engage with customers in person, via telephone, email and social media to analyze their needs.
  • Greet and educate travelers as they tour the VARIDESK co-working space at Dallas Fort-Worth Airport.
  • Consistently meet monthly goals of qualified leads.

 

6-18 Months

  • Continue to build your core sales skills, develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the VARIDESK brand, products, and services in order to educate potential customers.
  • Know what it takes to meet or exceed your goals and maintain the momentum to do so.
  • Begin to expand your knowledge of VARIDESK’s Sales methodology and full sales cycle.
  • Work with mentors and sales leaders to set goals for yourself to gain consideration for promotion.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Inbound, Outbound, Retail or Call Center Sales Experience to include: Utilizing a defined sales process to prospect and qualify customers, assess their needs, and position a solution for them.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Sales Development Representative

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through lead generation, outbound prospecting and inbound contacts.

  • Profile the account and overcome prospect objections to generate quality opportunities for the Business Development Team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on lead quality and conversion. 
  • Maintain active communication with leads via regular targeted contact. 
  • Achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Greet and educate travelers as they tour the VARIDESK co-working space
  • Ensure the VARIDESK co-working space is clean, organized, and welcoming to visitors
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the VARIDESK brand, products, and services in order to educate potential customers
  • Demonstrate proper ergonomics and product usage
  • Track customers’ questions and comments through regular reports
  • Alert the Marketing point-of-contact regarding any product issues or negative feedback in a timely manner

Qualifications:
